DAY 1

  • Start your engines for a day on the water! Kentucky and Barkley lakes are full of recreational boating and fishing opportunities.
  • Rent a pontoon for the day, or maybe a peaceful sunrise or sunset kayak paddle is more your speed.
  • Book a fishing guide for a day of thrill seeking after the big catch! Fish for bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish, and more on these massive bodies of water.
  • Pull into one of the bays along Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area for a picnic lunch or grilling out for dinner! With over 2,300 miles of shoreline on Kentucky Lake alone, there’s plenty of track for everyone to relax!
  • If swimming with the fish isn’t your thing, no worries!
  • Venture River Water Park is only a few miles away in Eddyville, Kentucky! This family friendly attraction is sure to satisfy all ages!
  • Whether you find yourself in Marshall, Lyon, or Trigg counties, the water is never too far away!
